Police investigate fatal accident

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police are investigating a deadly accident on Westwood Northern Boulevard.
It happened shortly before midnight.
Police say Daniel Schmitt, Jr. was driving his motorcycle east on Westwood Northern Boulevard when he lost control, going left of center of the grass median, hitting a tree and then a telephone pole.
Schmitt was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
He who was not wearing a helmet.
Officers say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash.
