CINCINNATI - Procter & Gamble announced it will move its beauty division to Singapore as part of plans to expand in the Asian Market.
Reuters reports P&G had recently unveiled a restructuring plan aimed at saving the consumer company $10 billion to help with its expansion goals.
The beauty brands include Covergirl Makeup, Olay, SK-II skin-care products and Secret deodorant.
The head of the division 49-year-old Virginia Drosos reportedly chose to retire rather than relocate to Singapore.
Reuters reports Deb Henretta will take over as president of global skin care, cosmetics, and personal care.
Henretta is the current president of P&G's Asia and global specialty channel.
There are 20 positions in Cincinnati impacted by the move to Asia.
