CINCINNATI - This week on Pet Pals our friends from the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) have a 2-year-old cat named Tommy and a 2-year-old female dog named Ginger in the 9 On Your Side studio.
The folks at SAAP say adopting a kitten or a puppy for the holidays is fine as long as the entire family is on board with the responsibility and knowledge about the breed, sex and age that will best fit their abilities.
Adult pets, according to SAAP, are often more adjusted, house broken and a foster family can give you information about the temperament of the animal.
Each of the first three weekends in December SAAP will have Santa at the Western Hills PetSmart for pictures with your pet.
