Macy's iHeart Radio Rising Star contestant in Kenwood

KENWOOD - Mateo, a Macy's iHeart Radio Rising Star Contestant will perform at Macy's in Kenwood Saturday at 1 p.m.
Mateo is an Ohio native and a graduate of Morehouse College. He says he grew up wanting to make a living making music but knew it was a long shot. He moved to New York and became a strategy consultant but did not enjoy his work.
Frustrated, he moved to LA and met producer Kerry Brothers who has worked with other top recording artists like Alicia Keys. To visit Mateo's webite click here.
