CINCINNATI - Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory is getting a sneak peek of the living space within The Banks Project, and soon Tri-Staters can check it out for themselves.

Mayor Mallory is getting a VIP showing of new housing at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Current at The Banks has 300 units, and the mayor is scheduled to tour one of its completed model apartments. So far, 43 percent of them are already leased. Monthly rents for will be between $800 and $2,465.

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory will get a tour Friday morning of a model apartment that will be open to the public in about two weeks.

The public will get to tour the model apartment in about two weeks.

There are studio units, plus apartments featuring one or two bedrooms. Some feature picturesque views of the Ohio River. Others face Downtown, Great American Ball Park or Paul Brown Stadium.
Retail tenants include Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, Holly Grail Tavern & Grille, Huey’s 24/7 Diner, Le Crepe Nanou and the Wine Loft.

Initial plans called for a grocery store in Phase I, but that space was taken by the Toby Keith establishment. A grocery may be added in future phases, according to Spokesperson Libby Korosec.

Those interested in the apartments are invited to visit the pre-leasing office, which is located near construction at 121 East Freedom Way. Walk-ins are welcomed any time on Tuesdays and Thursdays during regular business hours. Appointments must be made all other times.

The move-in date is in April.

The progress, so far, means that phase one of The Banks Project is on track to be complete by this spring.

Along with the apartments, Johnny Rockets and the Holy Grail hope to open by March 31 for Reds Opening Day.
