A fundraiser in downtown Cincinnati on Friday night had plenty of people "seeing red."
The fourth annual Cincy Chic 'Lady in Red' event raised awaress for the number one killer of women in the United States: heart disease.
More then 300 people helped raise money through drink sales, silent auction bids, and special party games.
And for the ladies involved, the fashion was part of the fun.
Co-organizer Melissa Scalia said, "We have a lot of great dresses tonight from the Black and White exchange, that are being freeze modeled. And they're all little black dresses, but you don't always have to be literal with red. A lot of the girls have a black dress on with their red lips and their red fingernails. Everybody's just having a great time and they incorporated it in their own way."
The event raise around five thousand dollars last year, and organizers say their goal for this year is seven thousand.
All of the proceeds from the party go to the America Heart Association.
