CINCINNATI - Already 8,589 people have registered for the annual Susan G. Komen for the Cure in Cincinnati.
The annual event is Saturday September 29th at Great American Ball Park and so far 494 teams have registered.
Those participants have raised 41% of the overall goal, securing $244,673.
Jeannie Hampton visited the 9 News Studio to talk about her participation in the race since her breast cancer diagnosis 10 years ago.
