CINCINNATI - 9 News talks with Jan Hoyng of The North East Welcomers about the their work to connect people with each other and the community in which they live.
The group invites both people new to Cincinnati and those who have lived here for decades to join them for a variety of activities from game nights to dinners and even simple walks through the neighborhood.
The North East Welcomers started more than 40 years ago with a gathering of just a few women and today there are more than 150 members.
