CINCINNATI - Downtown's newest and most anticipated development, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, has released new details regarding its parking guidelines and opening date.

Officials with Horseshoe Cincinnati announced Monday in a release that the $400 million project will be ready to open its doors on March 4 at 8:30 p.m. following a ribbon cutting ceremony.

As part of the Grand Opening, special parking arrangements will be provided to guests. Free parking at The Banks parking garage will be available along with a free shuttle service that will transport guests to and from the casino from March 4 at 6 p.m. through March 5 at 6 a.m.

Starting March 5, the casino will house a 2,500-space parking structure available that will be free to all guests on week nights and weekends.

“We are pleased to offer our guests free parking on nights and weekends in our convenient and accessible new parking structure,” said Mike Warren, Horseshoe Casino's vice president of marketing, in a release. “We will also provide several ways for property guests to validate parking during the week.”

Officials say hourly parking rates will range from $1 for the first hour up to a maximum of $14. These rates will be in effect Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Parking will be free during the week from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on the weekends.

Members of the Caesars’ Total Rewards program will receive free parking by playing 30 minutes of slots or table games, by playing one hour in the poker room, or by spending $25 in a casino restaurant or gift shop, according to a release.
