CINCINNATI - "Three days of fashion, fun and parties," is how organizers are billing the Gay Expo and Fashion Weekend benefiting Stop AIDS that gets underway Friday evening.

While the weekend promises to be a great time with food, drinks, fashion shows and even fire dancing, the cause is very serious.

Stop AIDS, which assists people living with HIV/AIDS with medicine, referrals and networking has lost $700,000 in state funding.

The festivities will include a fashion show tonight at 11 p.m. at Roxy's (formerly Hamburger Mary's), with trendy items from 4U Urban Fashion Boutique.

Roxy's will stay open with an after party and dining until the wee hours.

Saturday's all day events include Yoga demonstrations, a drag show, fashion shows, and fire dancing at 4U Fashion Boutique.

Sunday features a Bloody Mary brunch at Roxy's, with booths set up from other local vendors.
