Cruiser camera video shows taxi chase

CINCINNATI - 9 News is giving you a first look at the cruiser camera video from a chase through Cincinnati this weekend that ended in a crash, and the discovery of a taxi driver who had been stuffed in the trunk.
The video picks up at the beginning of the chase when you can hear an officer say the taxi won't stop. At times as many as six cruisers were involved in the chase. At one point an officer attempted to throw stop sticks in front of the vehicle, but missed.
The chase traveled through neighborhoods, onto I-75 and eventually ended in Winton Hills when the vehicle crashed.
Police arrested Charles Black. He is charged with kidnapping and aggravated robbery because police found the taxi driver in the trunk of the vehicle.
Mulu-Geta Shiferaw is the driver who was found in the trunk. He was transported to University Hospital. His condition has not been released.
