CINCINNATI - Construction will soon begin on a Downtown site that's expected to draw beer lovers from around the world.
In March, crews will begin putting in steel beams for the new Moerlein Lager House.
Christian Moerlein President and CEO Greg Hardman revealed design boards of the project.
The lager house will be located along off Joe Nuxhall Way and will feature a restaurant reminiscent of Cincinnati's 19th century beer gardens.
It will also offer guests a working microbrewery producing a full line of Moerlein craft brews.
Visitors can then enjoy a cold one inside or outside with an option of two different beer gardens.
"We want to have a world class brew pub, restaurant matching food with beer and to also have great call out elements of Cincinnati's great brewing heritage particularly of the Christian Moerlein brands and all of the great Cincinnati beer brands," said Hardman, of Moerlein Brewing Company.
Construction is expected to be completed by late October or early November.
