CINCINNATI - What should the city of Cincinnati do with the money generated from the soon-to-open Horseshoe Casino?
City council wants to hear your two cents.
The Job Growth Committee is holding a public hearing Monday afternoon.
Anyone who wants to speak is being given two minutes to share their ideas before the committee.
Councilman Charlie Winburn is proposing the city invest $11 million of the revenue over the next 20 years. He says by doing so, the city could generate $137 million through the use of taxable bonds. Winburn says the money could go toward job creation and neighborhood and business development.
The public hearing is Monday at 1 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
