CINCINNATI - The latest new tenant at the Banks downtown is ready to hire more than 200 people.
The Christian Moerlein Lager House is set to open Feb. 27, and they're looking to find employees to fill almost every position.
"We're looking for dynamic team members that come with a positive attitude, to bring a world class brewing experience to Cincinnati," said Greg Hardman, Moerlein Brewing President and CEO.
The Cincinnati Regional U.S.A. Chamber of Commerce says $2.6 billion has been invested in the downtown core on both sides of the river.
That investment is paying for people in need of work. Moerlein says it will start hiring as soon as Thursday.
"We would like to offer positions the day of, as many as possible, some of that will be time determined, versus whether or not it's a great candidate," said Rob Gannaway, Moerlein Brewing General Manager.
The career fair will take place at 120 E. Freedom Way from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday as well as from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Managers and human resources personnel will be at the career fair to accept completed applications, do interviews and answer questions.
