CINCINNATI - 9 News talks with Cynthia Starr from the Mayfield Clinic about the Beacon of Hope weekend and third annual Walk Ahead for a brain tumor cure.
The 5K walk/run will be held Oct. 28 to raise money for brain tumor research.
The mission of the UC Brain Tumor Center is "to provide innovative and compassionate care for patients with brain tumors through education, support, knowledge and research, as we progress towards a cure," according to the organization's website.
The Beacon of Hope weekend includes the Midwest Regional Brain Tumor Conference on Oct. 27 followed by the walk on Oct. 28.
