CINCINNATI - Parking availability in downtown Cincinnati is getting better with the opening of a new parking garage Thursday.
The new Washington Park Parking Garage is opening across the street from Music Hall and bringing with it 450 underground parking spaces.
Construction crews are still working above ground on the park itself, which is slated to open July 1, 2012.
Developers say the new garage is designed with your safety in mind and that you can see from one end to the other to help you be aware of who else is in the garage.
You can enter the garage on Elm Street directly across from the front steps at Music Hall or from Race Street.
