CINCINNATI - The future was on the agenda Wednesday evening for the City of Cincinnati.

The city's planning staff hosted the first of two forums at Cincinnati Public School's Education Center in Corryville. The PLAN Cincinnati Learning Forum focused on economic development, business retention, and arts and culture.

"PLAN Cincinnati's focus is on what the city will look like in the future," said Charles Graves, City Director of Planning and Buildings. "The last Comprehensive Plan for the city was done over 40 years ago. Technology alone has rapidly advanced since then."

Residents who attended the forum say these kinds of meetings are vital. "If you wanna have an affect on where you live and what the city looks like, this is the time to do it," said Heather Sturgill of Northside. "Later on, after the plan is done, there isn't an opportunity. If you do it now, you can say what you want the transportation to look like, what you want your neighborhood to look like."

If you would like to attend the second PLAN Cincinnati Learning Forum, it will be held August 26 at 7:00 p.m., also at the Education Center. It's located at 2651 Burnet Avenue.
