CINCINNATI - From the corner of Hamilton Avenue you can count eleven bullet holes that went through the front of Shaker's bar in College Hill just before 2 a.m. Sunday.
Police have not verified how many people were shot, but management at the bar say at least five were wounded.
Once inside Shaker’s you can see where the bullets took a chunk out of the bar, ripped two pieces of paper, and hit the side of an electronic game machine.
According to both the bar's owner and the general manager, the problem started with a group of young men hanging out in the back parking lot.
Shaker's manager says he asked the men to leave and that's when he says they became agitated, made their way around the outside of the bar to the front and opened fire through the glass windows hitting several people inside.
While Cincinnati police have not confirmed if this is accurate, investigators did say one victim suffered life-threatening injuries, but that victim made it through surgery Sunday and should recover.
Employees at the bar, who asked not to be identified, say they want to set the record straight about what happened.
"This was not done inside of Shaker's. This was done outside of Shaker's, like a coward, shot through the window and hit five innocent people that was just sitting here listening to music, having a drink enjoying themselves, having a conversation. To all of a sudden be shot at for no reason."
Management at Shaker’s say they're going to close for at least a few weeks.
Cincinnati police are still looking for multiple suspects and ask anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
