CINCINNATI - Multiple emergency crews responded to a fire Saturday night at an apartment building in College Hill.

The blaze occurred at the Hawaiian Terrace Apartments, located in the 4900 block of Hawaiian Terrace.

Cincinnati Fire Chief Marc Monahan said the fire started on the first floor of a three-story apartment building and 29 firefighters had to initiate an aggressive attack to the interior of the building.

There were no injuries to residents or firefighters, Monahan said.

Fire crews determined the cause of the fire to be combustibles placed too close to a heating source.

Damage to the structure is estimated at $15,000.
