CINCINNATI - A man was shot and later died of his wounds inside a motel bar on Central Parkway in Clifton early Thursday morning.
Cincinnati police say a second man was also shot and later arrived at University Hospital.
The deadly shooting happened at the Pit Stop Lounge inside the Budget Host Inn, located in the 3300 block of Central Parkway, south of Cincinnati State and Ludlow Avenue.
Police say Rickey Lummus, 28, was shot inside the bar just before 12:50 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are not releasing the identity of the other victim.
When officers first arrived, there was a large crowd outside the bar, giving them plenty of people to question about what led up to the shooting.
Police have not determined if some kind of argument or dispute among bar patrons may have led to the fatal shooting.
A tow truck was seen taking a car away from the inner parking lot of the motel, but police have not released if that vehicle may be connected with the case.
Several people who wanted to enter the motel as guests early Thursday morning were turned away by officers as investigators remain on the scene.
