CINCINNATI, Ohio - The organization People Working Cooperatively have gathered thousands of volunteers for the 24th Annual Prepare Affair.

The event will focus on helping low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners prepare their homes for the winter.

Volunteers will be going across the tri-state raking leaves, cleaning gutters, handing out smoke detectors, and other needed maintenence.

Organizers and volunteers are meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning at 4612 Paddock Road in Bond Hill.
