CINCINNATI - Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, along with players and other members of the coaching staff, awarded 5,000 honor roll students from Cincinnati Public, North College Hill, and Covington Independent Schools medals of achievement.

The Marvin Lewis Community Fund and Cincinnati Zoo hosted the "Learning is Cool Celebration" Monday evening.

Students posed for pictures with Coach Lewis and Bengals players.

To be eligible for the recognition, students had to be on the "A" honor roll at least twice this past school year.

The Marvin Lewis Community Fund boasts a 110 percent increase in students achieving the "A" honor roll in Cincinnati Public Schools since the program began in 2008.
