Prosecutors file motion to change Widmer trial venue

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio - Warren County Prosecutors have filed a motion to change the venue of the third Ryan Widmer trial.
Prosecutors cite the extensive media coverage and say the defense has attacked the credibility of witnesses and investigators.
Ryan Widmer is being tried for the third time for the death of his wife Sarah. Sarah was found dead in the bathtub of the couple's Hamilton Township home in 2008.
The first trial, Widmer was found guilty. The judge ruled it a mis-trial for jury mis-conduct. In the second trial in early 2010, a jury could not reach a verdict.
The third Widmer trial is scheduled to begin in January.
