GREENDALE, Ind. - The frustration was palpable at the Dearborn County Board of Elections on Election Night. They were not able to report 100 percent of returns.

The problem was a voting machine at a precinct in Greendale. Elections officials did not detail exactly what the problem was, but the problem is forcing a hand count of the 500+ ballots cast there.

All in all, it does not mean a great deal. The result of that count won't affect any of the county-wide races.

But it does mean that those running for two seats on the Lawrenceburg School Board will have to wait one more day to find out who won. The margins are so small in those races that the number of votes cast in that one precinct could make a difference in the outcome.

Once those results are released Wednesday, WCPO.com will provide them.
