CINCINNATI - 9 News hosted a roundtable discussion on both sides of Issue 2, to be decided on the upcoming Nov. 8 ballot.
Issue 2 deals with the law that limits the collective bargaining abilities of more than 350,000 Ohio teachers, firefighters, police officers and other public employees. Workers could negotiate on wages but not on their pensions or health care benefits.
It also bans public worker strikes, scraps binding arbitration and eliminates teacher step increases.
A “YES” vote means you approve the law.
A “NO” vote means you reject the law.
Jeff Berding and David Pepper joined the discussion, offering their points of view on a "yes" and "no" vote.
