HYDE PARK - Police are searching for a man who robbed a Hyde Park bank Wednesday afternoon.

A white male presumed to be in his mid-20s and wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and a baseball cap robbed the U.S. Bank at 2739 Madison Road just after 3:30 p.m., according to police.

The man showed a handgun, demanded cash and fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Nobody was hurt during the robbery.
