TOLEDO - An inmate serving a life sentence for killing four people in western Ohio nearly 14 years ago has been accused of strangling a fellow inmate at a Toledo prison.
A grand jury on Monday indicted Lawrence Michael Hensley in the death of an inmate who was found in a cell last fall.
Authorities say Bradley Hamlin of Mantua died two days later.
Hensley was sentenced to life in prison in 2000 after admitting to killing three teenage girls and a Bible studies teacher in Shelby County, north of Dayton.
The county prosecutor tells The Blade newspaper in Toledo that it was one of the worst murders officials had ever seen.
Hensley was arrested after a standoff with police at a gas station where he had three hostages.
