The Space Shuttle Endeavour is heading to Los Angeles where it will be displayed at the California Science Center.

But here's the problem: A two-day parade is planned in October and for the shuttle to make it through, some trees have to go.

About 400 trees, actually.

And that's got some people upset.

The science center says it will plant 800 new trees to make up for the loss.

Some residents say the new trees will be too small and not provide enough shade.

City officials say it's an honor to have Endeavour in their area.

In 25 missions, it flew nearly 300 days in space.
