President Obama and Mitt Romney continue scrambling over the next few days to win Ohio’s 18 electoral votes, as well as duking it out in other battleground states like Florida and Virginia, with each candidate hoping to cobble together enough states to reach the magic number of 270.

As this nail-biter of an election finally draws to a close, political junkies might want to try their knowledge by taking an online quiz created by Slate.com .

Slate has posted 12 electoral maps, randomly generated from presidential elections since 1860. States are shaded according to the party of the candidate who won them: Red for Republicans, blue for Democrats, and green for third parties or even-splits.

Try picking the correct election that matches the map before time runs out.

Good luck!
