There’s now a place available for people who want to send letters of condolence, care packages or drawings from children to families of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting victims.

Based on an outpouring of public interest, the U.S. Postal Service has set up a dedicated P.O. box that allows the public to send messages and other items to victims’ families.

The address is:

Messages of Condolence for Newtown

P.O. Box 3700

Newtown, CT 06470

Mail sent directly to Sandy Hook Elementary School will continue to be delivered to the school, postal officials said.
