- 12, 12-oz. cartons of Freebird fully cooked gluten free/soy free chicken patties with code 6244 and a use-by date of Sept. 6, 2013. The cases have a Julian code of 1249.

-10-pound cases of fully cooked chicken nuggets with code 6221 and a use-by date of March 15, 2014. The cases have a Julian code of 2075.

The recall was sparked by consumer complaints about plastic in the food. The USDA said there have been no reports of illness or injury linked to the chicken.
