Medical helicopter called to 2 vehicle crash in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. - A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a two vehicle accident in Franklin County, Indiana Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened near the intersection of US-52 and IN-229 around 2:45 p.m.

Two people were injured in the crash. One was transported to UC Hospital, the other was taken to Children's Hospital.

There is no word on what caused the accident, or the extent of their injuries.

Authorities are not releasing any further details at this time.
