Winton Lake reopens after sewage scare

CINCINNATI - There's good news tonight for anyone who uses Winton Woods Harbor and Lake: the facilities are once again back open.

Officials closed the recreational areas in August after a sewer line break at nursing home in Mount Healthy contaminated the lake's creek corridor. However, the park district environmental staff says its been monitoring the water, and there are no signs of sewage, or stress to aquatic life.
