CINCINNATI - Snacking in the office can lead to an extra five to six pounds every year, according to new study.

A study from The Village Bakery reveals that working women can add a whole dress size thanks to those cookies and cupcakes from co-workers, according to a Daily News and Analysis story .

The average female will gain 6 pounds, 3 ounces a year from office snacking. Men gain around 5 pounds, 2 ounces a year.

On average, employees will eat about two snacks every day. Just over 30 percent of workers eat three or more snacks every day.
