DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — One old favorite is out and another is back at the top of the latest list of most popular names for Ohio newborns.
The Dayton Daily News reports the most popular monikers in 2011 were Mason for boys and Emma for girls.
Mason was followed by Jacob, which had been in the top slot since 1995. Noah, William and Liam filled out the top five.
Emma, which was a favorite from 2003 to 2006, reclaimed the top ranking held for the past two years by Isabella, which dropped to fifth. Sophia ranked second, followed by Ava and Olivia.
