SAN DIEGO - A man is in custody after he reportedly pulled a knife on three off-duty lawmen in California.
Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, two San Diego police officers and a federal agent were leaving the Padres game when a man threatened them with a knife.
The officers pulled out their guns, ordered the man to drop the knife and get on the ground, which he did.
A help call went out on the police radio and a dozen SDPD cars converged on the scene and arrested the man.
The man claimed he got the three men confused with three other people who ripped him off earlier in the night during a drug transaction.
No injuries were reported.
