TURTLECREEK TWP, Ohio - One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Warren County Monday morning.

The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Kirby and Hart roads in Turtlecreek Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 2004 Ford F-150 operated by Brian Lahman, 32, of Mason, was driving southbound on Kirby Road when a 2005 Honda Civic operated by Rosemary Hoey, 56, of Dayton, failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the F-150.

Hoey was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Lahman and his 6-year-old passenger were not injured.

Kirby and Hart roads were closed to traffic while officials investigated the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation but alcohol and/or drug usage do not appear to be a factor, according to the OSHP.

No charges have been filed.
