CINCINNATI - If you think it's cold in the Tri-State now, just remember: It could be worse.

In 1977 Cincinnati was blasted with a winter blizzard that was cold enough to freeze the Ohio River. The blizzard last for almost two weeks at the end of January.

Tri-State residents took the rare opportunity to walk across the river.

9 On Your Side dug up archive footage of the blizzard which can be viewed in the media player above.
