U.S. marshals, deputies arrest man wanted on Calif. attempted murder charges

MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - U.S. Marshals and Butler County Sheriff's deputies caught a fugitive Friday morning who is accused of stabbing multiple victims at a Denny's Restaurant in California.

Richard Michael Pervier, 32, who goes by the name Michael, is wanted for three counts of attempted murder. Acting on a confidential tip, law enforcement personnel caught Pervier at about 10:30 a.m. at a house in the 6100 block of Jericho Lane in Milford Township.

Pervier was arrested with incident. He was taken to the Butler County Jail, where he is waiting for extradition back to California.

Pervier is accused of repeatedly stabbing multiple victims inside a Denny's Restaurant in Ukiah, Calif., in September 2012.
