Two suspects arrested after homicide victim dies at Children's Hospital

CINCINNATI - Police have arrested two suspects in connection to a homicide that occurred near Children's Hospital in January.

Lavon Oden, 25, and Curtis Boston, 18, were arrested Wednesday and are charged with murder in the death of Dashawn Wheeler.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 30, Cincinnati police responded to the Children’s Hospital Medical Center for a report of a person shot.

Wheeler arrived at the hospital and was pronounced dead.

Wheeler was shot in a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Burton Avenue, according to police.
