Some of us may be turning ourselves into fashion victims, and according to a Wall Street Journal article, it could be harmful to our health
Skinny jeans may be fashionable, but a tight pant leg can pinch a nerve in your upper thigh and cause a temporary condition called meralgia paresthetica
"It can cause terrible burning and pain in people who wear tight pant legs," said Dr. Orly Avitzur, Consumer Reports Medical Advisor.
Skinny jeans have also been linked to digestive problems and even blood clots in your legs.
Experts say if body slimmers and tight belts are worn too tight the compression can cause nerve problems and stomach aches.
And those killer heels really might be killer if you keep wearing them 2 inches or higher. You're at risk for bunions, numbness and even fractures, especially if you've never tried them on before.
