MT. ORAB, Ohio - Police say they have arrested a man wanted in connection with several burglaries and thefts in the Brown County area.

Steven Hartman, 23, of Williamsburg was arrested on Jan. 5 near Milford. He is charged with three counts of burglary, six counts of theft and three counts of criminal trespass.

Police say the incidents occurred between July 2012 and December 2012 in Mt. Orab and Williamsburg. Some of the stolen items included jewelry and scrap metal.

Hartman was arraigned on Jan. 7 and is being held at the Brown County Municipal Court on a $50,000 bond.

"All of the cases remain open at this time pending further investigation, and additional arrests are expected," said Sheriff Wenninger in a news release.
