MARYSVILLE, Ohio - Former Mason High School teacher Stacy Schuler could be released from prison as early as next week.
Schuler, who was found guilty back in October 2011 on 16 counts of sexual battery, is eligible for a judicial release after serving six months of her four year sentence.
April 27, 2012 will mark six months to the day the former physical education teacher was convicted of having sex with five students at her Springboro home.
Schuler’s attorneys have told 9 News that they would have to file a motion for release –which is normal procedure— in Warren County Judge Peeler’s courtroom. They have yet to do so but say that while Schuler is eligible it is highly unlikely the 34-year-old will be released.
She is currently being held at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.
