FAIRFIELD, Ohio - A school bus crashed into a home following a collision between the bus and a pickup truck in a Fairfield neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. in the 400 block of Magie Avenue.
According to Fairfield police, the school bus collided with a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling northbound on Redwood Drive, which sent the bus crashing into a residence on Magie Avenue.
Police say the bus driver, an eighth grade student and an aid were on the bus at the time of crash. The bus driver was briefly trapped inside the vehicle and then transported to Mercy Hospital. No one else on the bus was hurt.
Three people were inside of the home, but none were injured.
The driver of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Mercy Hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
