CINCINNATI - All southbound lanes on Interstate 75 were reopened around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday after an accident involving a semi-tractor trailer closed all but one lane for more than two hours.

The roadways were closed after a semi-tractor trailer hit a car just north of the Mitchell Avenue exit around 5 p.m.

Police say at least one person was injured as a result of the accident. The condition of the injured person was not released by police. It is not clear how many people were inside each vehicle at the time of the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
