Domestic violence suspect leads police on chase through Springfield Twp.

SPRINGFIELD TWP, Ohio - A domestic violence suspect is in police custody after leading officers on a chase through Springfield Township Friday morning.

Police say Marcus McCraney was driving a Ford Explorer and refused to pull over for police in Springfield Township at about 9:20 a.m. McCraney was wanted for domestic violence out of Colerain Township, according to officials.

McCraney led police on a chase through Springfield Township, the Groesbeck area and Colerain Township before he crashed in the 6000 block of Banning Road. Officials arrested McCraney without incident.

He is charged with felony domestic violence, fleeing and eluding and failure to comply with a police officer.

Officials say speeds reached up to 60 mph during the 10-minute chase.

Authorities have not released any additional details about the crash at this time.
