Police said a man was driving on Bender Road and hit a transformer on Bender and West Anderson Ferry Road

At 1:05 a.m., Duke estimated 1,500 residents located west of Anderson Ferry Road were without power. The power will be back on by the morning hours, according to Duke Energy.

The driver was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
