CINCINNATI - Have you ever wondered about endocrine disrupters in your makeup, lotion, or sun screen?
UC Health is hosting its Ninth Annual Public Education Forum called Looking Upstream for Environmental Links to Breast Cancer. This year's featured speaker is Dr. Susan Teitelbaum.
The forum is April 6, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Cincinnati Reading Campus.
Presented by the Cincinnati puberty study with funding from the National Institutes of Health, this forum provides timely information on potential environmental exposures and an update on the NIH sponsored ongoing breast cancer research in the Cincinnati area. The forum's topic is “Personal Care Products: Environmental Exposures that We Experience Every Day.”
The forum, buffet breakfast and educational materials cost $20.
