Procter and Gamble settles diaper lawsuit

CINCINNATI - Procter and Gamble has agreed to settle a class-action diaper lawsuit.

The plaintiffs complained that Pampers’ Dry Max caused diaper rash and other skin problems on children.

Under the settlement Procter and Gamble will pay $1,000 to the 59 plaintiffs in the class action.
The company will also have to pay $2.7 million in legal fees and another $400,000 will be paid to fund training programs in pediatric skin care.
