CINCINNATI - Police used a Taser on a man after he refused to cooperate with their commands in Carthage early Wednesday morning.

Cincinnati police say they responded to 76th Street near Anthony Wayne Avenue on reports of a trespasser around 1 a.m. A man was in his vehicle at a fabrication company where he was not authorized to be.

Police ordered the man — whose identity has not yet been released — to exit the vehicle, but the man instead reached into his pockets. That’s when officers used a Taser on him.

The man had drugs and needles in his pockets, according to police.

Authorities arrested the man and have charged him with possession of drugs, trespassing and failure to comply with an officer.

Police have not released any additional details about the arrest.
